DEAD IN THE HOLLER
An Appalachian Cryptid Halloween at Dogtown

THE SUMMONING
Dogtown | Floyd, VA
Halloween night
$10 cover

This Halloween, Dogtown is summoning all the deadheads, witches, things that whistle in the night.... come on out and get your groove on!

We are stoked to have Rosebud grace our stages for the ultimate shakedown to call in the spirits. Rosebud is a Floyd, Virginia-based music group rooted in the spirit of the Grateful Dead, blending faithful covers with original, long-form improvisational jams.

And as if that isn't enough to get your bones dancing, we have sounds from the Holler, by DJ Sp_ceboy! He will be weaving together dance bangers, psychedelic oddities, and sounds best left unexplained....

Come dressed up! We'll be conducting our very own Costume Contest, with prizes and bragging rights for the strangest creatures among us. There will be prizes for the following: Best single costume, best group costume, and Cryptid/Ghoul you are most likely to find in Floyd County.

Come as something they swear they saw once.

Stay weird. Stay wary. And if you hear your name coming from the woods… no you don’t....
